Kardo is a product by We Are Designers. This page explains what we collect on kardo.space, and why. Last updated 26 September 2026.

On this website

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to see which parts of the page people read and which buttons they press. They record page views, clicks, the page you came from, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, which those services work out from your IP address. They set cookies so they can recognise a returning browser.

PostHog also records your visit as a replay of what happens on this page: where the pointer moves, what you click and how far you scroll. Anything you type into a field is masked. We use replays to find parts of the page that confuse people.

If you decline, neither tool loads and nothing is sent. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

On a Kardo card

Cards carry no advertising and no third-party trackers. Kardo counts views, saves and QR scans for each card, so the card's owner and their company admins can see what happened. It stores no IP addresses and no device details, and it does not tie a view to a person.

Accounts and cards

Companies sign in through Clerk. A card holds the details the company chooses to put on it, such as a name, title, phone number, email and photo, and anyone with the link can see it. Companies control their cards and can unpublish or delete them. Cards are kept out of search engines.

The database and photos are stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
